Hoping to inspire and encourage hair care

Welcome

Welcome

I just want to thank everyone who has encouraged and inspired me to share what God has placed in my heart.

All about Abby

Can you tell my face was bitten by a dog?

I’ll tell you a little bit about me. My name is Abby. I was born in Washington in 1992. I tend to go a little bit over board with my birthday by celebrating the entire month of August, especially the 25th. I have been married for 6 years to the most amazing and handsome man ever! We do not have children and please don’t pray we have some! (it happens all the time!!) We are waiting on Gods timing for having children.

A couple random facts about my self… I love purple tulips but prefer the smell of roses. My favorite color is purple but I love everything pink. I have long hair that has never been cut. Well, it was once by a little boy I baby sat but I’ll share that story another time. I have an obsession over elephants because they are the cutest animals ever!!! I think thats enough personal information…for now.

I got the idea for Girly Glory at the beginning of 2015, but I have always loved doing hair. My mom refused to do my hair after the age of 10, so for the longest time I would be seen with a pony tail or a giant bun on the top of my head. That all changed my senior year of high school when I discovered Mean Girls and you could only wear your hair in a pony tail once a week. Not to mention the life changing impact that a hair style had in Princess Diaries. That started my journey! I quickly became known as the best hair stylist among my friends. I tried any hair style I saw and walked around my house with extravagant hair styles simply because I wanted to practice!

Fast forward to 2016. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon my dog bit my face. Five hours and nine stitches later I had these exquisitely placed wounds on my left cheek. Fortunately I had an amazing doctor (I didn’t think he was amazing that day) who was great at stitching people up, but I still had scars. So I started researching and looking into natural ways to get rid of scars. This lead me down a long and expensive path, full of bath bombs, hair masks, face masks, essential oils, sugar scrubs… and the list goes on and on. So here we are in 2018 with all this knowledge of hair care, skin care, and over all pampering. I think I’m ready to share what I have learned, some girly tips and tricks and to inspire someone to take care of their Glory.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me. I can’t emphasize how much each one of you was an enormous part in this Dream.

If you’re wondering what happened to the dog…Meet Ralph who is very much alive but less grumpy…sometimes.
